I’m a freelance film writer, critic, and programmer with a particular interest in transnationalism/migration/diaspora, decolonial thinking, speculative fiction, and queer imagination, among other topics.

Writing: I am a contributor for Cineuropa, with bylines in MUBI Notebook, Senses of Cinema, Screen Slate, Talking Shorts, Crooked Marquee, Modern Times Review, Zippy Frames, and more.

Festivals: I’ve covered large festivals including Berlinale, Cannes, Rotterdam, and Sundance as well as smaller festivals including Animest Romania, Vilnius Short Film Festival, Verzió Film Festival, Far East Film Festival, and more.

Curation/editorial: I serve as the publishing coordinator for Cineuropa’s GoCritic! emerging writers workshop. I am also a member of the international film selection team for the documentary film festival One World Slovakia and the editorial team for International Film Festival Rotterdam.
