A brilliant young pianist spirals down a dark hole when confronted by a strict new instructor. Set to Beethoven’s famous Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13 (Sonata Pathétique), this short thriller ruminates on young Asian Americans pushed to their limits in their prime while seemingly excelling in their craft.
